London's most romantic restaurant, or so we say, is Muse by Tom Aikens. Opened by the youngest British chef ever to be awarded two Michelin stars, Tom Aikens, and his team of expert chefs use seasonal and fresh ingredients to create dishes inspired by the Tom’s Norfolk roots. The restaurant is so elegant and intimate, that it is the perfect place to spend Valentine's Day this year. Be sure to book a table quickly, as there are very limited seats.

Want to be outside, but fancy something casual?

Want something casual, but dosed in luxury and heritage? Why not try out the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill, where the interior exuberates the cinema's long history, with leather seating, footstools, tables for food and drink, and sofas that are absolutely perfect for romantic nights out, especially Feb 14th. The cinema is playing Death on the Nile from the 111th-14th Feb. Book tickets here

This year's annual Orchids Festival at Kew Gardens features a series of stunning horticultural displays that bring to life the incredible biodiversity of Central America, with the amazing culture and colours of Costa Rica, home to 6% of the world's flora and fauna species. How about a group trip, or a romantic stroll through the gardens. Make sure you don't miss the Princess of Wales Conservatory, or the vibrant installations of monkeys, sea turtles and the native quetzal bird, a symbol of Costa Rican forest protection.

Or why not bring the flowers home this year? Instead of calling up the local florist, head down to Columbia Road Flower market on Sunday 13th, and pick out some seasonal flowers from your loved one? & get a lovely vase while you're at it, to make sure the flowers are sitting pretty in your home.
