Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the January Furniture Show in Birmingham, it was an exciting opportunity to explore the latest trends, meet like-minded designers, and discover fresh new brands. We’re always on the lookout for inspiring pieces that can bring something unique to our clients' homes—and the show did not disappoint.

New Connections and Exciting Brands
One of the highlights of the event was getting to know brands that we hadn’t encountered before. We were particularly impressed by Bluebone, a brand that offers a stunning selection of stylish, contemporary furniture with a focus on sustainable materials. Their mix of modern design and natural finishes fits perfectly with our ethos of blending comfort, quality, and sustainability.
Another standout for us was Asiatic London, renowned for their beautifully crafted rugs. Their designs ranged from the classic to the contemporary, with plenty of eye-catching textures and colors that we can already see working well in future projects. Their commitment to quality and design innovation was evident in every piece on display.
We also discovered Trampoline, a brand that offers a fresh take on bold, playful, and colorful interior pieces. Their offerings were dynamic, energizing, and perfect for injecting a sense of fun and personality into any space. It's always refreshing to see brands that are not afraid to push the boundaries and experiment with new ideas, and Trampoline did exactly that.
A Desire for More Variety
While we thoroughly enjoyed discovering these new brands, we couldn't help but feel that the overall product range at the event could have been a bit more diverse. Many of the exhibitors focused on similar styles, which made it a bit challenging to find products that stood out in terms of variety and innovation. It would have been great to see more diversity in terms of materials, design aesthetics, and cultural influences that could speak to a broader range of tastes and preferences.
In a world where clients are increasingly seeking unique, personalized solutions, it would be fantastic to see next year's show offer a wider spectrum of products. There’s always room for more bold experimentation and cross-cultural fusion in design, which could bring new energy and excitement to the market.
Looking Ahead to Next Year
Despite this, the event was a valuable experience overall. The opportunity to meet with new brands, touch and feel the products in person, and talk directly with the designers and manufacturers was invaluable. We left the show feeling inspired and energized, with several new brands in our arsenal that we’re excited to incorporate into our upcoming projects.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s show and are hopeful that the diversity of products and styles will continue to evolve, offering even more exciting opportunities to create one-of-a-kind spaces for our clients. As always, it’s an exciting time for interior design, and we’re so grateful to be part of such a vibrant and dynamic industry.
